Two Arrested After Being Found With Marijuana

Two men have been held by police after being found with a quantity of marijuana in a car in Debe.

According to reports, around 9:50pm on Saturday, Highway Patrol Officers were on mobile patrol along the M2 Ring Road, Debe when they had stopped a silver Nissan Sylphy motor vehicle with two male occupants.

A search of the vehicle resulted in officers discovering a black plastic bag containing the drug which has an estimated street value of $30,000.

The men, both of Point Fortin, aged 38 and 49 respectively, were arrested and 3kgs of marijuana seized by the officers.
