Police On Alert For Possible Outbreak Of Gang Warfare

An investigation is underway to determine the source of images which were leaked on Tuesday of several men believed to be involved in gang activities in this country.

National Security Minister, Edmund Dillon, responded to questions on the matter while on a walkabout in Laventille on Wednesday morning.

Following the release of the images in question, talk has circulated that police were prepping for major bloodshed in the coming days.

Acting Police Commissioner, Stephen Williams, said he is aware of these utterances, and confirmed that his officers are keeping vigilant.
