Islamic Front Calls For Religious Tolerance In Society

The Islamic Front believes that we need to adopt religious tolerance in the society.  

Umar Abdullah leader of the organization made the statement in defence of Muslim OJT Nafiesa Nahkid who was prohibited from assuming duties at the Lakshmi Girls College because she wore a hijab

Mr Abdullah condemned this action taken by the authorities of that school. He spoke to CNews via telephone.

Mr. Abdullah said in the past not only Muslims have been treated unfairly but also Hindus and Christians.
