Social media was buzzing with a video of a young woman clad in a secondary school uniform being beaten by a man and woman in Point Fortin.

The girl's father claims his daughter was beaten as a form of revenge after she had an altercation with the mother of the two individuals seen beating her in the video.

He says he was disappointed with the way the situation was handled and plans to return to the police station on Monday where he will file a report.

He said his daughter remains traumatised and embarrassed by the incident.
