The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says it is computerising and modernising to provide better outcomes for citizens.

Acting Senior Superintendent McDonald Jacob told a police townhall meeting in Rio Claro that the issue of technology is a pet peeve of his, because the TTPS has not properly explained the strides it has made in modernising.

After this data specialists enter the information for it to be available to all police stations in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Senior superintendent also revealed that the TTPS has engaged criminal and victim profilers to assist in the detection and prevention of crime.
