T&T's Asphalt Could Be Used To Construct World's Largest Airport In China

Trinidad and Tobago's asphalt could be used to pave the tarmac of the world's largest airport being constructed in China.

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley and a Trinidad and Tobago delegation on Wednesday, visited the headquarters of the Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG). 

BCEG is building the world's largest airport, the new Beijing International Airport, in China. Dr. Rowley indicated that the properties of Trinidad and Tobago's asphalt, render it the best quality asphalt for paving an airport tarmac. 

The Chairman of Lake Asphalt, Christopher John Williams, delivered a presentation on the quality of T&T's asphalt and also invited the company to partner with Lake Asphalt in developing and monetizing asphalt by-products.
