Opposition Leader Expressing Well Wishes To The Muslim Community

Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar is expressing well wishes to members of the Muslim community as they begin the month of Ramadan.

In a statement Tuesday, Mrs Persad-Bissessar reflected on the month of Ramadan as a month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness.

She said Ramadan brings about happiness, goodness, spiritual enlightenment, rewards, physical and spiritual benefits to all Muslims. 

The Opposition Leader called citizens of the country to take this opportunity to reflect on themselves and the spiritual upliftment in their daily lives.
