Gypsy Confident In Return To Politics

Chairman of the National Carnival Commission, Winston 'Gypsy' Peters, says he’s not a member of any political party at present.

His response comes following his resignation from the People's Partnership Cabinet in 2015 and new appointment under a People's National Movement-led administration.

Speaking on Good Morning Trinidad and Tobago, Mr. Peters said he's confident about his qualifications.

When asked if he would ever return to politics, the NCC Chairman did not hesitate to respond. However, he did not disclose for which party.
