President of the Powerful Ladies Organisation of T&T, Gillian Wall says they will, without hesitation apologise for doing anything that negatively affects any public office in this country.

Last week, PLOTT published a release headlined "President's Refusal to Appoint Darryl Smith as a junior minister."

The Office of the President soon responded to the release stating, it was clear under the Constitution, the President is required to appoint Ministers "whenever advised to do so by the Prime Minister, unless the individual fails to satisfy a condition required by the Constitution." It also indicated that President, Paula Mae Weekes was "greatly distressed and dismayed," by what it termed "this fabrication."

While speaking to reporters during their Sports and Family day today (Sunday), Miss Wall said a complete apology will be done in three parts.

She noted that they have since apologised but they want to ensure now it is written, verbal and delivered in person.
