THA Looking Into Restrictions On Styrofoam

No legislation as yet to ban styrofoam in Tobago but the Tobago House of Assembly is looking into the matter with urgency.

A few tourist based economies in the Caribbean have already banned styrofoam use such as Antigua and Barbuda.

Speaking on Good Morning Trinidad and Tobago, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Kelvin Charles, said he was hoping to make this a reality on the sister island and conversations have begun with the Ministry of Planning.
