Disabled Man Appears In Court For Child's Murder

A wheelchair-bound man accused of beating a nine year old boy with a piece of iron has appeared in the Arima Magistrates’ Court.

On Saturday 10th of February, around 1pm, Ishmael Phillips, of Ryedale Avenue, Greenvale Park in La Horquetta, was beaten with a piece of iron before falling unconscious.

According to reports, attempts to revive the child failed, and he was taken to the hospital where he subsequently died.
