NCC Chair To Meet With Police On Carnival Responsibilities

The Socadrome and the Queen's Park Savannah Stage have been accepted as two separate venues for the Parade of the Bands.

This could change as the Chairman of the National Carnival Commission works to unite both creative forces.

Over the 2018 season, Mr. Colin Lucas has been in discussion with the Carnival Bands that use the Stadium venue to entice them back to the Savannah and traditional bands to use the newer spot.

His plans however were not facilitated by the police this year.

Marie-Therese Bernard spoke with the NCC Chairman and gives this report.
