J'ouvert Celebrations In Tobago

Over in Tobago, J'ouvert celebrations were held at three separate locations: Crown Point, Scarborough and Roxborough.

The largest crowd was in Crown Point where a number of modern J’ouvert bands participated.

Although not as well attended as last year, Roxborough had a sizable crowd with another set of modern J’ouvert bands taking part.

For yet another year, the capital Scarborough failed to attract much participation from the J’ouvert bands, leaving spectators with little to see.

That, though, didn't stop the few Traditional Mas bands from being judged at various points.

As promised by Executive Chairman, George Leacock, steelbands made their way through the capital.
