Opposition Leader On Anti-Gang Bill

In her contribution to the debate, MP for Siparia and Opposition Leader, Kamla Persad-Bissessar said she is willing to support good legislation, given the increase in crime in the country.

She said there was great cause for alarm. She asked the government to show them clearly how the bill would help the country's crime situation.

At the end of her contribution, she asked the government to put in a Sunset Clause and remove sedition.
