Former Minister of Housing, Dr. Roodal Moonilal, claims PricewaterhouseCoopers is guilty of misconduct and he's calling for a full investigation into all their audits performed under the PNM administration.

The Oropouche East MP made the claim during Friday’s sitting in the House of Representatives, as he moved a Motion that the House take note of the continuing failure of the Government to implement a viable housing policy to provide affordable housing units to qualified and deserving citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.

He claims that they have overstepped their boundaries while conducting audits at the HDC. He said the necessary action will be taken.

Responding to the Oropouche East MP, Minister of Housing, Randall Mitchell, said he believes the motion may have been poorly constructed.

Minister Mitchell believes that the details of the Motion should not have been brought into the House, but kept for explanation in the courts.

Dr. Moonilal mentioned that the PNM Government had not constructed any HDC's units since taking up office, but Minister Mitchell said money has to be spent repairing units completed by PP administration.
