Political Activist Shot And Robbed

Political Activist Barrington 'Skippy' Thomas was shot during a robbery on Wednesday.

C News understands Thomas was confronted by two men outside his Mountain View, Champ Fleur home at around 9pm. The gunmen attempted to steal Mr. Thomas' vehicle and when he resisted, he was shot in his legs.

The gunmen eventually made their escape in Thomas' Toyota Corolla Axio.

Thomas was taken to hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
