Family Of Four Held For Pistol And Marijuana Possession

A family of four was arrested after officers of the Northern Division Task Force Area West found a pistol and a quantity of marijuana at their Curepe home during an anti-crime exercise in the district on Tuesday morning.

The exercise was conducted between 12:05am and 5:30am.

Acting on information, officers went to a house at Lyndon Street in Curepe where 100 grammes of marijuana and a pistol loaded with a magazine containing eight rounds of 9mm ammunition were found.

A 17 year old boy, a 53 year old woman, and two men, a 26 year old and a 20 year old, all of the same address, were arrested in connection with the discovery.
