The Kids In Need of Direction (KIND) initiative is inviting Governmental as well as Non-Governmental Organisations to be a sponsor for their organisation.

KIND is currently based in Laventille and has been catering to those in and around the area since 1996.

Their website was officially launched on Monday. The site allows people to donate to the initiative. On the website, they advise that giving isn't only financial and they are always looking for volunteers to help.

The Kids in Need of Direction initiative intends to foster the holistic development of children, according to Community Outreach and Social Services Officer, Dafinah Tyson. The programme is made up of different components, which help children to reach their full potential academically.

While participating in the programme, students will be encouraged to have the "KIND" mindset.
