National Security Minister Condemns Immigration 'Sick-Out' - New Measures Proposed

Minister of National Security, Retired Major General Edmund Dillon, says automatic kiosks to replace the Immigration desks at the Piarco International Airport should be in place by Carnival next year.

During Friday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Minister Dillon strongly condemned the actions of the Immigration officers for the chaos at the Piarco International Airport on Sunday, November 12th, 2017, when hundreds of arriving passengers had to wait for several hours to be cleared.
