This country will have the opportunity to be a portal to the international NBC’s World of Dance reality series in 2018, as part of their global search for the best dancers.

New company, Lequay Edge, has expanded the competition's reach into the Caribbean by securing the license for World of Dance for Trinidad and Tobago.

This will be the first time any English-speaking Caribbean country will host such an event by opening the competition to all genres of dance.

At the launch of the World of Dance Trinidad and Tobago Qualifier 2017, Managing Director of Lequay Edge, Kyle Lequay, said it's an honour to host such an event

He said this country is filled with talented people and the world must see what they can do.

Auditions are scheduled to take place from as early as April 2018.
