Grants Available For Sea Lots Fire Victims

Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Cherrie-Ann Crichlow-Cockburn, said the Ministry is currently liaising with the Fire Service in order to identify those affected by the fire in the Sea Lots area this week.

Over thirty residents of Sea Lots have been displaced after their homes were destroyed in the fire.

The Minister was asked during the Question and Answer segment in the House of Representatives to state the measures taken to provide relief to the affected residents.

They were also informed about the School Supplies Grant to replace all uniforms and books for school children.

C News was told that none of the victims had applied for Grants.
