Feeding The Vulnerable After Natural Disasters

More needs to be done to ensure Caribbean countries have a steady supply of food following natural disasters.

This, from United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organisation Sub Regional Coordinator, Dr. Lystra Fletcher-Paul, who said growing food in other countries to assist affected countries is an option.

Addressing the Closing of the Two-Day Parliamentarian Retreat aimed at Food and Nutrition Security and Resilience, Health Security Resilience and Resilience Budgeting against Natural Disasters, Dr. Fletcher-Paul listed ways in which Caribbean countries can assist one another in obtaining food.
