Agriculture Minister Concerned Over 'Miracle Health Cures'

Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Clarence Rambharat, says his Ministry is hard at work devising a clear path ahead as it relates to food security and risk management.

Speaking at a Two-Day Forum on Food Safety organised by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Minister Rambharat said miracle cures which are heavily advertised locally are of grave concern.

He believes that continuously highlighting lifestyle diseases, and the way they supposedly eat away at our human capacity, drives people to these miracle cures.

He urged citizens to pay careful attention to the labels on everything they consume.
