13 Homes Destroyed In Sea Lots Fire

37 people were left homeless following a fire in Sea Lots, Port of Spain on Tuesday evening. 

C News understands that 13 houses were destroyed in the blaze at Pioneer Drive, which reportedly began at around 5:30pm.

The fire spread quickly and officers from the fire services were called to the area shortly before 6pm.

But little could be done to save the homes.

The cost of the damages is currently estimated to be $100,000.

Fire officers returned to the scene on Wednesday morning.

The cause of the fire is still to be determined.
