A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two countries at the Ministry of National Security on Tuesday.
National Security Minister Edmund Dillon says this will enable the countries to exchange intelligence at the top level.
The Minister of National Security also held talks with the Head of the US Southern Command on combatting issues relating to terrorism and radicalism.
Minister Dillon and Admiral Kurt Tidd shared some of what they discussed at a News Conference on Tuesday.
