Safer Schools Mean Better Students

Children must be made to feel safe at school in order for them to thrive in the education system.

This is the view of Director of the Franciscan Institute for Personal and Family Development, Sister Julie Peters, who says in this instance, safety refers to both physical and psychological care.

She believes in many instances, better supervision by those in authority can limit instances of violence that plague the nation's schools.
