Two In Court For Murder Of Mayaro Man In 2014

Two men appeared before a Mayaro Magistrate on Monday to answer charges in relation to the 2014 murder of Daud Abdullah.

Thirty three year old Abdullah was shot dead as he lay in bed with his girlfriend on the morning of Thursday February 6th, 2014.

On Monday, 37 year old Bevon 'Bingi' Williams and 45 year old Densil 'Blow' Francis appeared before Justice of the Peace Dookie in the Mayaro Magistrate Court charged with Abdullah's murder, and shooting with intent at his female companion at her home in Guayaguayare. They were also charged with possession of a firearm.

The Office of the DPP issued instructions to charge the duo on Saturday, and they were formally charged on Sunday.

The matter was adjourned to next Monday, November 13th.
