AG Makes A Case For Abolishing Preliminary Inquiries

Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi is once again making a call for Preliminaries to be struck out of the Judicial Process.

This, as he says it's one of the main contributors to the backlog of cases before the courts, with some matters taking well over a decade without a date set for trial.

Mr. Al-Rawi was speaking during a PNM Constituency Meeting in the Diego Martin West area on Sunday.
