A 35 year old Valencia man is expected to appear in court on Monday, charged with the robbery of a First Citizens bank in Chaguanas.

The man was arrested last Thursday after police received information that he was at the location when the incident occurred.

Sometime over the weekend of September 22nd to September 25th, a hole was cut into the Eastern side of FCB's building with a blowtorch, and $3.5 million was stolen from the bank's safe.

Investigators were working on a theory that he might have had accomplices, but at this time only one man has been charged.
