Malick Secondary To Close Until November 14th

Malick Secondary School will be closed for one week.

The Ministry of Education is assuring that all problems affecting the school will be addressed by November 14th.

Following a meeting with the parents and teachers of the school, as well as TTUTA and the Member of Parliament for Laventille East/Morvant, Education Minister Anthony Garcia said it is imperative that the school return to a state of normalcy.

He gave an outline of the challenges affecting the school, and shared what measures have been put in place to improve the school.

The Education Minister has also given the assurance that the issues affecting the St. Joseph Secondary School will be investigated.

This, as parents say the students at the school have only attended three weeks of school since the opening of the new term.
