Education Minister To Meet UTT Board Following Announcement Of Staff Cuts

The Ministry of Education intends to meet with the Board of the University of Trinidad and Tobago next week to discuss a way forward for the institution.

It follows an announcement by the Chairman to cut staff as a result of a decrease in UTT's 2017-2018 recurrent allocation.

Speaking at a tour of the Malick Secondary School on Friday, Education Minister Anthony Garcia said he intends to meet with the Board and the Ministry of Finance next Tuesday.
