Truck Driver Killed In Accident On North Coast Road

An accident on the North Coast Road has claimed the life of 61 year old Ranjit Ramkissoon.

Reports are that Mr. Ramkissoon was driving a dump truck at a job site in Maracas when it overturned at around 7:30am on Thursday.

Mr. Ramkissoon, who lived at Penal, was thrown from the truck, and landed near to the tray. He died on the scene.

Investigators suspect the brakes of the dump truck failed.
