The Month encourages Member States to celebrate their country at the national level, and to enhance the profile of the Caribbean tourism sector in the marketplace.

During the launch at the Fondes Amandes Community Reforestation Project, Minister of Tourism, Shamfa Cudjoe, called on citizens to reflect on the invaluable impact of tourism on the economic, social, and cultural wellbeing of the Caribbean.

She said throughout the month of November, the Ministry of Tourism will be embarking on a series of events to celebrate T&T's diversity.
