EU And CARIFORUM Agree To Work Together

A commitment has been made for the CARIFORUM and European Union to work together under the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

Confirmation came from Trade and Industry Minister, Paula Gopee-Scoon, at Wednesday's Closing Press Briefing for the EU CARIFORUM Conference.

Minister Gopee-Scoon said the discussions were constructive, and that trade performance was discussed in detail.

To this end, Minister Gopee-Scoon said the EU and CARIFORUM also pledged to build on cultural cooperation.
