Coast Guard Officer Shot Fleeing Holdup

A Coast Guard Officer was shot in Santa Cruz on Tuesday evening.

According to reports Andrew Daniel was in La Canoa when at around 1am a gunman approached him and announced a holdup.

30 year old Daniel who is from Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas attempted to flee and he was shot in the back.

He drove off in his car to safety before getting disoriented.

He is currently warded at hospital in a serious condition.
