Government Did Not Play Role In Moonilal Corruption Probe

Minister in the Office of the Attorney General, Stuart Young, has denied the Government has played a role in investigations involving Oropouche East MP, Dr. Roodal Moonilal.

The Minister issued a release expressing this on Sunday evening.

In that release, Minister Young stated that Dr. Moonilal will soon be served with civil proceedings for the alleged part he played in a conspiracy to award contracts and facilitate payments to five contractors engaged in cartel behaviour at the Estate Management and Business Development Company Limited.
