Petit Valley Taxi Driver In Court For Murder

A Diego Martin man is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate on Monday, charged with the September 17th murder of Amado Hernandez.

Kernell Rousseau, a 24 year old taxi driver from Petit Valley, was charged with the offence as well as possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition after police received instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard, SC.

Twenty one year old Hernandez was standing outside his girlfriend's home at Sam Boucaud Road in Santa Cruz on Sunday September 17th, when a car approached and a gunman revealed himself.

Hernandez was shot several times before his attacker drove off in the vehicle.
