Ferry Sailings Expected To Resume, CAL Adds More Flights To Tobago

Following the cancellation of several sailings to Tobago over the weekend, repairs continue on the T&T Express.

The Trinidad and Tobago Inter Island Transport Company has said they are working feverishly to get the Express ready to sail on Monday at 3:30pm from Port of Spain to Tobago.

Sailings of the T&T Express were cancelled on Saturday and Sunday due to engine failure.

The Trinidad and Tobago Inter Island Transport Company has also advised the public that Caribbean Airlines has added more flights to ease the burden.

This is the latest setback along the sea bridge, which saw the cargo vessel, the Cabo Star, taken off the schedule for this weekend for repairs.

Truckers told the media that the Cabo Star had been moving slower than usual before it was taken in for repairs on Thursday.
