Locust Swarm Moves Across South Trinidad

A swarm of locusts were on the move once again in South Trinidad on Sunday.

This time residents of Hardbargain, Williamsville were subject to swarming locusts. The locust have been moving across south Trinidad for the past few months, after being sighted in Moruga, Rio Claro and Tabaquite quite recently costing thousands of dollars in losses to farmers.

Agriculture Minister Clarence Rambharat has visited the affected areas and the Agriculture Ministry has been conducting spraying exercises.
