Prime Minister Wants Commissioner of Police To Look Into Parliament Mayhem

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley wants the Commissioner of Police to take note of what happened in the Parliament on Thursday evening.

The Prime Minister commented on the matter while speaking at the PNM's Post Budget Meeting at City Hall in San Fernando on Friday evening. He believes the string of recent protests by the Gaming Industry is mischief being orchestrated by the United National Congress.

The Prime Minister to tell the story of the wealth of Casino Owners referenced a September 2004 article in the New York Post. The article allegedly states the Owner of a Casino in Trinidad and Tobago offered to help Donald Trump manage his Casinos in Atlantic City and even wanted to buy the NBA's Phoenix Suns.

Dr. Rowley re-iterated what is legal in Trinidad and Tobago is Members Clubs. He said under loopholes in Members Clubs, Casino owners have created a huge industry generating wealth that is unknown to the government.
