Marijuana Trees Found During Police Raid

Police have seized $350,000 worth of marijuana following a raid in Morvant on Saturday.

Officers from the Inter-Agency Task Force joined officers of the Organised Crime Investigations unit and conducted an anti-crime operation in Sou Sou Lands from noon to 4pm.

They entered an area known as 'the Coco" where they found several marijuana trees in a house totalling 27kgs.

A warrant was said to be issued for the owner of the house.
