More needs to done to address Non-Communicable Diseases in the Caribbean.

This, from First Lady Mrs. Reema Carmona who says while some are heeding the call, the statistics are still high.

Mrs. Carmona was addressing a reception dinner on Thursday in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Port of Spain Declaration on Non-Communicable Diseases at NAPA.

Meanwhile, PAHO/WHO Representative, Dr. Bernadette Theodore-Gandi, said the rise in NCDs severely impacts the economy.
