Atlantic LNG Conducting Checks After Fire At Point Fortin Plant

A fire was reported at one of the power generation units on Atlantic LNG’s Point Fortin plant on Tuesday.

In a statement, the company said reports of a fire came in at around 2:15pm and the company's response and safety systems were immediately activated.

They said the fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries.

The company says technical teams are conducting checks.
