7th Assembly of Caribbean People

The official media launch of the 7th Assembly of Caribbean People was hosted by the ACP's Local Organising Committee on Tuesday.

The OWTU's Chief Education and Research Officer, Ozzi Warwick, spoke on behalf of the Local Organising Committee.

Twenty five delegates from Trinidad and Tobago will be attending the 7th ACP in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from October 26th to 30th, 2017.

As a mechanism for building consciousness, solidarity and progressive action, the main objective of the ACP is to achieve a much more integrated Caribbean, through people-to-people engagement and unified efforts.

Delegates to the VII ACP will come from a vast number of social movements.
