Four Year Old Girl Succumbs To Injuries From Road Traffic Accident

A four year old girl is dead following an accident along the Valencia stretch on Monday.
Lexiene Baptiste died later at hospital.
The accident occurred when a Kiss Delivery truck collided with the car that Lexiene and her family were in.
Witnesses said at around 8.30 p.m., the driver of a Kiss delivery truck was headed west along the roadway, when on reaching the vicinity of St. Albans, the vehicle in front of the truck stopped suddenly.
The delivery driver reportedly pulled right onto the next lane and collided with the car in which Lexiene, along with her mother, Omega Baptiste, and another occupant, was a passenger.
The child and the other injured were taken to the Sangre Grande Area Hospital.
She was pronounced dead at the facility.
