Prime Minister's Press Conference After Meeting Tobago Stakeholders

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley met with stakeholders in Tobago on Monday to discuss the inter-island sea bridge.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister held a Press Conference and fielded questions from the media on the sea bridge issues.

Over the past few months, Tobago has struggled with cargo issues following the departure of the Super Fast Galicia, while there have been regular breakdowns of the T&T Spirit and the T&T Express, the main passenger ferries.

Last month, the Cabo Star arrived and began taking up the task of transporting cargo to Tobago. However, the contract for the passenger vessel, the Ocean Flower 2, was cancelled two weeks ago.
