During last Friday's rally at the Brian Lara Promenade, JTUM Leader Ancel Roget issued the call for the working class to boycott businesses owned by who he called the "1%."

That call has brought criticisms from different sections of the national community, including businessmen and Political Analysts.

But on Friday, BIGWU Leader Vincent Cabrera said he is standing in Mr. Roget’s corner.

Mr. Cabrera explained that the so-called 1% owns around 33 businesses and has been making profits but still retrenching workers.

He then called out those who are against Mr. Roget's boycott call.
