Embarrassed and disappointed...

That's how Former Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies batting star, Brian Charles Lara, says he felt over misconceptions surrounding the Tarouba Facility, bearing his name.

The double world record holder sought to clear the air on a number of issues, even as he looks ahead to Friday's official opening of the academy, complete with a match featuring the batting star and several of his former colleagues.

Lara spoke out at a media conference at his residence in Port of Spain today.
