The Ministry of Works and Transport says Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan has authorized the use of the Priority Bus Route (PBR) to all motorists up to 12 Midnight.

The opening of the PBR to motorists is expected to alleviate traffic congestion caused by a depression in the road near the Port of Spain lighthouse.

The "sink hole" caused a massive traffic jam for several hours, heading into Port of Spain on Friday morning.

The Ministry of Works and Transport is further advising motorists to use alternative routes into Port of Spain.
