Gambling Bill To Go Before Joint Select Committee

The Gambling Control Bill 2016 will go to a Joint Select Committee and will be brought back to the Parliament in 6 weeks.


In debating the bill in the House of Representatives Minister Stuart Young said the passage of the bill will reduce criminal activity because casinos and private members clubs facilitate money laundering and terrorist financing.
